Wow! I loved this shoot with Sarah, Rachel & Kim shot at The Abbeyglen Castle for a family portrait. Firstly because it's such a great location, just look at these gardens. Picturesque! Also, so close to my house, 5mins in fact ha! And secondly, this family were amazing! So close to each other and so lovely to be around and capture.
Kim and her 2 daughters came all the way over from Louisana to celebrate the girl's grandparents very special vow renewal. (Also found on my blog under Jenny & Reggie. Definitely check it out. They were amazing and so full of love.)
Kim also asked me to capture her beautiful daughters and we had an absolute ball. The girls were great, so bubbly and full of energy. I'm sure we could be heard laughing all over the Castle lol.
We simply took a stroll and let the good times roll, then captured what we thought looked pretty. We certainly weren't disappointed. There are so many beautiful spots down in the garden. Gorgeous flowers and shrubbery made for a great backdrop and there is a lovely little bridge and woodland path. I decided to capture both Rachel and Sarah together, as well as separately and they were up for it. Obviously the girls were amazing, I simply asked them to strike a few poses and keep changing them up and that they did. The energy was great, the girls were full of life and just naturals in front of the camera. They made Meeee feel at ease! :) Heh, that's my job! ha!
I loooove these images.
I often get asked to capture special moments like these while people are on holiday here in the west of Ireland. It's such a pleasure to capture these moments for families as I know they'll be looked at time and time again. It's so wonderful to meet so many different families and hear all their stories. Thank you for choosing me to capture those memories for you.
Capturing memories that last a lifetime.
