The Perfect Wedding VenueWhat a great wedding at the Ocean Sands Hotel, in Enniscrone, with Joanne & Conor! These guys had such a fantastic day. As did I capturing it! I shot one of Joannes bridesmaids wedding, a few weeks beforehand, so so it was nice to see so many familiar faces. I'm pretty sure they were all used to me by this stage. :) There were great spirits in the houses that morning, I started with the boys in Bonniconlon then off to the girls in Breaffy. Bar a little drizzle in the morning we got fab weather for the photos. Always a plus when your couple fancies some shots on the beach.
The Love StoryConor & Joanne met on NYE in Ballina when Conor was living in Spain and Joanne was in Limerick. They had their first date in Enniscrone on the beach and then went to the Ocean Sands. They were also engaged on the beach, so it was no coincidence they chose the Ocean Sands Hotel as their perfect wedding venue, and that it was. The colour scheme was purple.
The AttireI loved the bridesmaid's dresses and so did they. This is the second time I've come across the company Mix Bridal. They didn't disappoint, the quality, sizing and dressmaking for each individual bridesmaid were perfect. Joannes dress was so elegant. It was styled perfectly with a beautifully dramatic red lip completing her classic & sophisticated style. Conor and the lads were very distinguished in their Tux's and Joanne bought each of them socks with animals on them. She chose the sloth for Conor, which gave rise to a few giggles from us all. Ha!
The WeddingAfter a beautiful ceremony in the Cathedral and some formal shots, we visited the seaweed baths in Enniscrone for some wedding party and couple shots. Afterwards, we headed back to the reception for some drinks and to catch some shots with guests and family before the meal. The speeches were hilarious with not a dry eye in the house. Their cake toppers were owls because Joanne loves owls! They were very cute! For more great weddings feel free to check out my other blog posts here
